Comfort is always top of mind for us when designing for your little Beans. But in the world of creativity, imagination and play - designing playful prints, colour palettes and on-trend styles is where the fun begins! When designing for any season, we always look to where the fashion trends are going. Today our friend and Fashion Stylist, Caprice Conners, alongside her adorable little Bean, Everly (who you'll notice sporting her beans throughout this post) is back to walk us through her Top Trends for Fall / Winter 2021! Take it away Caprice (& Everly)!
Bright, Bold Colours
The bolder, the brighter, the better! When you think of bright, vibrant colours - I'm sure you typically think of Spring and Summer, however, this Fall/Winter 2021, we are seeing bright, saturated colour palettes come to life and we are here for it! In particular, rich hues of purple, green, orange, pink and yellow! Don’t be afraid to add a pop of colour from one of these uplifting, saturated hues to your wardrobe or your little one's wardrobe for the colder months ahead.
First off, florals are not just for Spring nor are they ever really out of fashion - but this autumn, you can find a mix of these beautiful prints from delicate French florals to oversized, graphic flowers making big news. Plus, these make such a fun and playful print for your kids to sport!
Show your Stripes
Most fashion advice states that it is best to wear vertical stripes, but wearing stripes on stripes that go in different angles is also stylish and creates a statement. Don't be afraid to mix and match stripes with other stripes or patterns. I know many kids who are definitely not afraid to do so! They also work well when you layer them, pair them with textured pieces, and have fun with different colours as well as variations of scale! We’re Still Loungin’
After spending so much time cooped up at home during the height of Covid, we couldn’t get enough of loungewear. We’re seeing fashion veer away from the predominant cozy styles we hung out at home in. Although fashion has become more about elevated garments encouraging us to “get out and be seen” - a killer loungewear set will always have it’s place in our closets, especially with the cold winter months ahead.
