As we navigate through this difficult time of isolation and stress or fears, we want to share with you some guidance from our dear friend, Dr. MacNamara, with a new PLAYducation webinar hosted on Instagram Live @pkbeanskids.
Join us on March 31 at 1:00 pm PST to listen in and also get the chance to post your comment and questions as Dr. MacNamara shares with us how to maintain peaceful and worry-free bedtime routines for our little ones and to best deal with their moments of anxiety and fear.
Bedtime Battles, Separation Anxiety, and the Power of Play
Why is the nighttime separation the hardest part of the day for kids? How does anxiety show up at this time and how can we help our kids get the rest they need? How can play help our children stay emotionally healthy despite the current stressful times we find ourselves in? Join Dr. Deborah MacNamara, author of Rest, Play, Grow: Making Sense of Preschoolers (or anyone who acts like one), and on Faculty at the Neufeld Institute as she sheds light on these issues.
