Hey Bean Friends!
Happy 2020!!! I hope all of you are off to a great start to the year and are settled back into the swing of things! It’s hard having a few cozy weeks off with the kids and then be jolted back into routine!
I myself have had an exciting year already preparing for all the amazing things we have coming your way. Here are a few sneak peek photos of what I’ve been working on!
Playing with fabrics for new collections!
Fittings & Photo Shoots!
I am so excited to announce to be writing that we are officially launching our blog on our website today! We have tons of fun things planned that we will be sharing through our blog, including fun printables and challenges for you and your Beans, contests, guest posts and interviews with our Bean friends and partners, a closer look behind the scenes of our brand, and so much more! Make sure you are signed up to our newsletter to be the first to know of when a new blog is released!
To kick things off this year, I want to update you on all of the exciting things we have coming up in the next few months.
Check out the video below for my update.
As we get closer to our refreshed website and logo, I am feeling quite nostalgic and have been taking a walk down memory lane by looking at old photos. As I mentioned in the video, I started Peekaboo Beans when my daughter Cailin was 2 years old. I can't believe she is 16 and my younger daughter, Colbie, is now 11! Time really does fly!

Over the next few weeks, I welcome you to take a walk down memory lane with me. I’ll be sharing playful stories and memories on the blog and our social media. I encourage you to share yours too and hashtag #playfullyyourspb!
Those that know me know I’m a baby snuggler and children are what makes my heart skip beats, so our mission to support children’s healthy growth and development will never change. My babies may be growing up, but we want to support and grow with children all around the world!
The first photo I want to share with you is actually one of my favourite photos ever. My daughter Cailin was 3 years old at the time. And we were photographing our second collection called Imagine.
Picot, our first Designer, worked at Lululemon in quality control at the time, but I hired her after hours to help design our first collection. Picot now has two boys and lives in Australia! This collection was truly magical. It was designed to inspire a child’s imagination, with fire breathing dragons and sparkly fairy wings. My all time favourite piece is from this collection. The Fairy Tale Coat. Cailin is wearing it here. It is the one piece that I still have in her closet!
P.S. Rocking Republic Jeans were all the rage then. I remember being obsessed with these jeans!
PPS. Don't forget to share your favourite Bean memories on social media using #playfullyourspb. And, stay tuned to ours for more sneak peek's and memories from me!
Until next time!
